StartLabs

C2C, held during IAP in the month of January and during the last month of the summer in August, is an intensive, four week program that provides students with the time, resources, funding, help, and motivation they need to get from concept to company. This is a program that will provide the participating groups with the momentum and readiness to apply for early stage seed funding.

This program is for groups of students who have an idea, a plan, a determination, some sort of alpha version or design, and the readiness to work hard. Groups will go through an application process which will take place during the fall. Currently, this event is only open to the MIT community. Check out the FAQ.

You read that right - concept to company. At least that's the goal and throughout this program we'll be providing the resources, tools and guidance to get you there.

We have a number of mentors who have or are working on their own successful startups. We will provide a work space along with other entrepreneurs to set the atmosphere and motivation. We'll be providing legal, design, marketing and communication resources to help you get your beta off the ground by grabbing users, looking good, and not breaking any laws. And there are a whole lot more of other things planned for these teams like dinners, social events, speakers, and Demo Days.
